Yes, we are still here. Yesterday was not the end of the world. As worshippers of Jesus, there is both sorrow and excitement in this realization. We experience sorrow because we are not face to face with Christ at this moment. On the other hand, we are excited because we still have an opportunity to share the Gospel message with those who have not heard or accepted the Truth of Christ. Some people were very concerned about the end of the world. There were even some Christians who were fearful. Although I had a little fun with it in my Open Letter to Harold Camping, the end of the world is a serious matter. We know there will be a day when Christ will return as a victorious and glorified King to judge the living and the dead. We don't know the actual day because Jesus said, "…no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father" (Matthew 24:36). Every Christian should look forward with hope to that day. Christ's return should motivate us daily to wake-up, love the unlovable, comfort the hurting, and share the Gospel message. Everything that we do should be for the glory of God with the anticipation that one day Christ will return. I have a special message that I want to share with you "Working While Waiting." It is designed to give you Biblical insight into end times and encouragement for the days ahead. I am blessed to continue to passionately proclaim uncompromising Truth with you in this world as we anticipate Christ's return. In Christ, Michael A. Youssef, Ph.D. www.leadingtheway.org |
... of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God ... ~The Apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 1:18)
